A Movement of Compassion, Connection, and Resilient Living
Grief has a way of changing everything. It rearranges your soul, shifts the ground beneath your feet, and can leave you feeling as though the world no longer speaks your language. In the depths of loss — whether sudden or prolonged, visible or invisible — one of the most painful lies grief tells us is this: You are alone.
But that is not the truth. Not then. Not now. Not ever.
This is the heartbeat behind YANA — You Are Not Alone.
What began as a quiet whisper in my own healing journey has become a movement, a sacred invitation, and a promise. You Are Not Alone is more than a comforting phrase — it's a call to remember our shared humanity, our interwoven stories, and the resilience that can only be born in community.
In my own life, I have walked through the unthinkable — losing my adult son to domestic homicide. I know what it feels like to scream into silence, to ache for answers that don't come, to get up and parent again while your heart lies shattered in pieces. And I also know what it feels like to be held — by people, by purpose. The kind of holding that says, "You don't have to be okay to be worthy of love."
It's from that place that the YANA Podcast: You Are Not Alone — The Art of Resilient Living was born.
Each episode is a gentle unfolding — an exploration of grief, healing, advocacy, purpose, and personal transformation. I sit down with guests who have walked through fire and found light. We talk about what it means to be human in a world that sometimes feels too heavy to bear — and how we keep moving forward, one breath, one choice, one moment at a time.
Whether you're tuning in from your car, your couch, or during your morning walk, my hope is that each word reminds you: You are not broken. You are not invisible. You are not alone.
YANA is also a community in action. Through virtual and in-person grief circles, workshops, coaching, and live events, we continue to build safe spaces for honest conversation and heart-centered healing.
If you've ever felt like your pain is too big, your story too heavy, or your healing too slow — I want you to know something with absolute certainty:
You belong. Your story matters. And healing is possible — even if it comes in whispers.
